In case you’ve purchased one of our premium plugins, e.g. Yoast SEO Premium, it’s good to know you should separately install it, and subsequently, activate it in MyYoast to get it working on your site. Close the game, log out of Facebook and clear your browser's cache. Then exit your browser all the way (close all tabs), and then reopen your browser and log back in to Facebook. Here is a link that helps describe the process to clear your browser's cache. My Facebook page won't load all the way. It loads part-way and then stops. Does anyone know how I can fix this? The Facebook staff have been completely unreliable. To give an idea, my computer is a Max OS X.

When your camera isn't working in Windows 10, it might be missing drivers after a recent update. It's also possible that your anti-virus program is blocking the camera, your privacy settings don't allow camera access for some apps, or there's a problem with the app you want to use.

Before you begin

Before working through the possible solutions listed, do these first:

• Check for updates. Select Start , then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates. If you see the option to View optional updates, select it to see if there are updates available for your camera. Allow available updates to install, then restart your device when it's ready.

• Restart your PC. If you haven't restarted your device since the camera stopped working, you should do so. Select Start , then select Power > Restart. Waking up your device from sleep isn't the same thing as a restart.

• Test your camera with the Camera app. Select Start , then choose Camera from the list of apps. If you're asked to allow access to the Camera, select Yes. If the camera works in the Camera app, the problem might be with the app you're trying to use.

Check for a camera switch or button your device

Some laptops and portable devices have a physical switch or button that turns the camera on or off. When turned off, your device won't recognize that there's a camera installed. If your computer has a switch or button, make sure it's in the on position before using your camera.

Check your settings

Give your apps permission

If you recently updated Windows 10, you might need to give apps permission to use the camera. In newer versions of Windows 10, some apps don’t have default access to the camera.

To let your device access the camera, select Start , then select Settings > Privacy > Camera . In Allow access to the camera on this device, if Camera access for this device is turned off, select Change and turn on Camera access for this device.

Note: If camera access for the device is turned off and you can't select Change, you'll need an administrator on the device to turn on camera access for you.

Before any app can access your camera, make sure camera access is turned on for apps in your user account. Make sure that Allow apps to access your camera /game-reporter-on-cuphead-demo-vs-a-pigeon-intelligence-test.html. is turned on.

After allowing access to the camera, go to Choose which Microsoft Store apps can access your camera and turn on camera access for the apps you want. Only apps installed from the Microsoft Store will show in this list.

If you installed the app from the internet, a disc, a USB drive, or your IT administrator installed the app for you, it might not be a Microsoft Store app. To check, go to Allow desktop apps access to your camera and make sure it's turned on. Many video conferencing apps, like Microsoft Teams, are desktop apps that require this setting to be turned on.

Check your antivirus software

In your antivirus software settings, look for settings that block access to your camera or permission to use your camera. For help, visit your antivirus software company’s website.

Check your hardware drivers

Try a different USB port and scan for hardware changes

If you're using an external camera, try using it with a different USB port on your device first. If that doesn't work, or your camera is built-in to your device, try this:

3. If you can't find your camera, select the Action menu, then select Scan for hardware changes.

Check for an incompatible camera driver

Some older cameras that were designed for older devices aren't compatible with Windows 10. Here's how to check if you have if your camera is compatible:

1. In Device Manager, look for your camera under Cameras, Imaging devices or Sound, video and game controllers.

2. Press and hold (or right-click) the name of your camera, and then select Properties.

3. Select the Driver tab, select the Driver Details button, and look for a file name that includes stream.sys. If it’s there, your camera was designed before Windows 7 and you'll have to replace it with a newer camera.

4. If you don't find a file name that includes stream.sys, continue to the next steps.

Roll back the camera driver

If your camera stopped working after an update, try these steps:

1. In Device Manager, press and hold (or right-click) your camera, and then select Properties.

2. Select the Driver tab, select Roll Back Driver, and then choose Yes. (Some drivers don’t provide this option. If your driver doesn’t have Roll Back Driver available, go ahead to the next fix.)

3. After the roll back is complete, restart your device, and then try opening the Camera app again.

4. If rolling back didn’t work or isn’t available, continue to the next steps.

Uninstall your camera driver and scan for hardware changes

1. In Device Manager, press and hold (or right-click) your camera, and then select Properties.

2. Select the Driver tab, then select Uninstall Device. Select the check box for Deletethe driver software for this device, then select OK.

3. In Device Manager, on the Action menu, select Scan for hardware changes.

4. Wait for it to scan and reinstall updated drivers, restart your PC, and then try opening the Camera app again.

Note: If your camera still doesn’t work, look for help on the camera manufacturer’s website.

#1 Thing to Know - Physical Prevention is the Only Way
Gimmicks such as plastic owls, predator bird noise machines, shiny streamers, etc won't work. You can also attempt trapping or killing them all, as discussed below, but this is only a temporary solution. The only way to get rid of pigeons roosting in an area is to prevent them from being able to land in an area. This means physical deterrents. The most popular is the bird spike. These are simply strips of spikes that protrude upward, installed on beams, ledges, etc that prevent the birds from being able to safely land on an area. These bird spikes must be installed on every surface that the birds can land or roost on. Other options include electrified bird track that gives the pigeons a shock when they land, or simply wires that prevent landing. There is also a bird gel that the pigeons don't like to roost on. Finally, installed across a large expanse, can prevent the birds from gaining access to a large area.
Do Not Feed The Animals
First of all, stop feeding pigeons. It's a great past time for sure, and seeing people feeding pigeons at parks and by water fountains is common in movies, television and commercials. However, if you want to get rid of them, then feeding them will not help your cause. Feeding pigeons is not so cute and nostalgic when you suddenly find your home surrounded by flocks of them, tearing up your yard, squawking and leaving their droppings everywhere.
Do Repellants Work?
There are many methods that people have suggested over the years to get rid of annoying pigeons such as using different types of repellants. There are a variety of them on the market that claim to make the pigeons flee. These products are known to use offensive smells that are supposed to drive the pigeon away. It's certainly something that will make a human being leave, but does it really work for pigeons? Repellant glue and moth balls all give off an odor that pigeons just cannot tolerate, but eventually the pigeons will become immune to the smell and eventually return To get pigeons off of the property some people have used ultrasonic bird repellant devices. It's an audible device that produces a sound that birds are supposed to not like. Humans cannot hear it; just our annoying little friends. Unfortunately, these devices are not the most popular and if they do work, it will only be for a short period of time. It makes no sense at all to invest money in a product that doesn't offer long term results.
Evict Them
Most of the time when you see pigeons in the area it means that they more than likely have a nest somewhere nearby. If you check all around your property carefully, you may be able to find it. When you do find it, you need to knock it down immediately forcing the pigeons to rebuild their lives somewhere else. This is also only a temporary solution and they may begin building another nest in the same spot.
Kill the Pigeons?
Many people write to me asking how to kill pigeons. Some people even try to poison pigeons with feed, though illegal and not effective. The best way to kill pigeons is actually via a night shoot. Just wait until they are roosting at night, asleep, and shoot with a 1000 FPS air rifle. Done over the course of a few nights, this can take out quite a few of the pigeons and perhaps convince others to leave. But it's only a temporary solution. Cage Trapping
Pigeon traps can be an effective way to get pigeons off of your property for good and it'll probably work better than other methods because pigeons have a strong homing instinct that drives them back to where they began building their lives, even though you have probably ran them off several times with repellants and knocked their nests down. Regardless, they seem to come back every time. However, with a trap, you get to relocate them yourself. Setting a trap is not always easy and is best left to a professional but you can still try it yourself. Traps should be harmless and only used to catch the pigeons. They should never be used to hurt the intended animal or any of its predators. These traps consist of a cage that has a trigger on the inside of it that forces the door to close tightly once it has been activated. Lure the pigeons into the cage by placing their favorite foods on the trigger. Once the pigeon tries to enter and eat the food, the door quickly shuts and you've caught yourself a pigeon. Once you have caught the pigeon, you're ready to drive it away from your property and free it somewhere else. Considering that these clever creatures are good at finding their way home, you'd want to drive them a good bit of a distance before letting them go.
